We are pleased to share highlights from the “Understanding Student Well-being: A Holistic Approach” challenge, which took place during the 11th Tunisian Student and Young Professionals (TSYP) Congress from December 18-20, 2023, at the Medina Congress Center, Yasmine Hammamet, Tunisia, organized by the IEEE Tunisia Section.

🤝 In collaboration with the IEEE Education Society, the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC) Society hosted this special challenge, focusing on exploring the intricate links between students’ social relationships, physical and mental health, and emotional resilience through data analysis.

🌟 We were thrilled to witness insightful discussions, innovative analyses, and collaborative problem-solving among participants. This event brought together students, researchers, and professionals eager to make an impact on student well-being through a holistic and data-driven approach.

The creative writing and social action course is aimed at improving the knowledge about how to write short stories and to raise social awareness. In order to do so, the course had two parts, one on-site and one online through a Moodle platform. The total number of hours will be 25 divided in this way:

– 10 hours on-site: The main narrative techniques for writing fiction will be presented and a learning environment will be created in which to reflect on social action and creative writing.

– 10 hours online: In which the students from the university of Sfax-TUNISIA, and the students from the University of LasPalmas-Gran Canaria (ULPGC)-SPAIN, will interact through different activities.

– 5 hours (minimum) of a social action activity organized by an IEEE unit within eanch section.

Revolutionizing Learning Through AI Chatbot Integration Talk during the Intelligent Decision Support Systems IDSS’8, an annual workshop hosted for researchers, academics, and university students.

The purpose of this workshop is to improve the understanding of chatbots and transfer learning while encouraging the creation of AI Apps and Chatbots. Participants will display their skills, earn recognition, and contribute to the world of AI progress.
