In collaboration with University SESAME, IEEE Tunisia section has organized on August 4, 2017 a meeting for presenting the IEEE activities in Tunisia and in the world. The meeting was a great occasion to learn more details about the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. Also, it was a great occasion to celebrate the 2017 IEEE MGA Outstanding Large Section Award received by the IEEE Tunisia section During this meeting, IEEE members had the pleasure to meet and network with the most active IEEE leaders Karen Bartleson, 2017 IEEE President (USA) and Magdalena Salazar Palma, 2017-2018 IEEE Region 8 Director-Elect / 2019-2020 IEEE Region 8 Director (Spain). Prof. Karen gave a talk entitled “IEEE Success story” and Prof. Magdalena presented the “IEEE region 8 success story” talk. Furthermore, the chair of Education Society – Tunisia chapter Prof. Ilhem Kallel presented the Tunisia IEEE education chapter activities.
